Dear Patient,

We hope this letter finds you and your family in good health. Our community has been through a lot over the last few months, and all of us are looking forward to resuming our normal habits and routines. While many things have changed, one thing that has remained the same: our commitment to your health and safety.

Infection control has always been a top priority for our practice. We strictly follow infection control recommendations made by the American Dental Association (ADA), the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA).

You may see some changes when it is time for your next appointment. We made these changes to help protect our patients and staff. For example:

  • We require all patients to wear a mask or face covering to their appointments in order to protect our staff as well as other patients when you are arriving and checking out.


  • Please use the hand sanitizer station upon your arrival. Please make an effort to sit at least 6 feet from other patients in the waiting room.


  • Our office will communicate with you beforehand to ask some wellness screening questions. In an effort to improve efficiency, we are asking patients to respond to the screening questions via text or email prior to their appointment rather than over the phone or upon arrival whenever possible. You will be asked these same questions again when you are in the office. If you are unable to answer the screening questions ahead of time, simply scan the QR code outside the door upon your arrival.


  • When it’s time for your appointment, your temperature will be checked before you are walked back for treatment.


  • Appointments will be managed to allow for social distancing between patients. This might mean that you’re offered fewer options for scheduling your appointment.


  • If you or anyone in your immediate household is experiencing symptoms of illness, please call to reschedule.


  • Until further notice, most hygiene appointments will utilize hand-scaling procedures only and not an ultrasonic device.
