Get to Know Dr. Jeff Stutts
Dr. Jeff Stutts grew up in the Midwest but always longed to live in the mountains. At his first opportunity, he moved to the west. He completed his undergraduate degree in 1996 at the University of Colorado at Boulder with a bachelor’s degree in EPO Biology. He then moved to Denver, where he completed his dental doctorate and worked at the University of Colorado Health Science Center. After graduation, Dr. Jeff worked for two years in private practice in the Cherry Creek area of Denver. He eventually fled the crowds and traffic of the city to enjoy life in Bozeman. Dr. Stutts and Dr. Julie Raaf founded Cottonwood Creek Dental in 2002 and have since established it as the largest and most experienced practice in the Gallatin Valley.

Dr. Stutts has always been a lifelong student as well; from 2003 to 2006, Dr. Jeff attended the Dawson Academy in St. Petersburg, Florida. At the Dawson Academy, he received specialized training in temporal mandibular joint disorders, esthetics, and complex restorative cases. From 2006 to 2018, he studied implantology, complex restorative design, and sleep dentistry with the Seattle Blue Ribbon and Pankey study groups. Since 2019, he has been studying sleep and esthetic dentistry with the renowned Spear Education center in Scottsdale, Arizona. His personal interests include breeding and training Ccara pack llamas, bow hunting, fishing, and chasing upland birds behind his pointing dogs.
