The Wisdom Tooth Extraction Process

Removing one or more wisdom teeth can be a simple or surgical process. Our dentists are well-versed and experienced in oral surgery, so not all cases need a referral.

If the wisdom teeth are visible (even a little) above the gumline, gentle extraction is possible. If these teeth are impacted or beneath the gums, we will need to take a surgical approach. This requires opening the gum tissues to expose the underlying bone and tooth. Using careful precision, we will divide the tooth into sections to create an easier removal process while avoiding additional damage to the bone.
